Terms of Use
Last updated 14 September 2026 · Version 2026-09-14
1. Agreeing to these terms
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and YAZA Mentorship (“YAZA”, “we”, “us”). They apply to the YAZA website and apps.
By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using YAZA, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use YAZA.
2. Your account
Give accurate information when you register, keep your login details secure, and don't share your account. You're responsible for what happens on it.
3. Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users
YAZA has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You must not post, share or send anything that:
- harasses, bullies, threatens or intimidates anyone;
- is hateful or discriminatory, including on the basis of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or age;
- is sexually explicit or sexualises anyone — and in particular anything that sexualises or exploits children;
- depicts or encourages violence, self-harm or illegal activity;
- is spam or a scam, or tries to obtain money, passwords or personal information under false pretences;
- impersonates another person or organisation, or misrepresents your experience or credentials;
- shares someone else's private information without their permission; or
- infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or other rights.
You must also not use YAZA to abuse, stalk or exploit other members — including pressuring anyone for money, a personal relationship, or anything outside the purpose of mentorship.
4. How we enforce these terms
We review content that is reported to us and act on valid reports within 24 hours. When content breaks these Terms we remove it, and we may suspend or permanently ban the account responsible — without warning for serious violations. We may report illegal content to the relevant authorities.
5. Blocking and reporting
You can block any member from their post, comment, profile or conversation. When you block someone, their posts, comments and messages are hidden from you straight away. You can unblock people at any time from Settings.
To report content or a member, contact our Support team from the Support page in the app. Include a link or a screenshot where you can.
6. Your content
You own what you post. By posting it on YAZA, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and distribute it on YAZA so the service can work. The licence ends when you delete the content, except where others have already shared it or we need to keep it to comply with the law or enforce these Terms.
7. Mentorship on YAZA
Mentors share their own experience and opinions. Nothing on YAZA is professional, legal, financial or medical advice. Use your judgement: never send money to someone you met on YAZA, and take care before sharing personal details or meeting anyone in person.
8. Ending your use of YAZA
You can stop using YAZA at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms. When we make material changes, we'll ask you to review and accept the new version before you continue using YAZA.
